The NERF Elite 2.0 range is a much-needed update to the stellar (but now slightly dated) N-Strike Elite blaster series. Though we are sad to wave goodbye to the original Elites, we’re not too sad because the 2.0 blasters are awesome!

Blasters in the 2.0 series build on some of the best features across the NERF range, making full use of tactical rail customization and sporting some very sleek designs. You won’t need to go out and buy a load of new darts either, Elite 2.0 works with standard Elite darts so don’t go panic buying just yet!

NERF Elite 2.0 Phoenix CS-6

NERF Elite 2.0 Phoenix CS-6 blaster blaster blaster

Features

Semi-Automatic

Motorized blaster

Includes 6 dart clip

Includes removal scope

5x tactical rails

Includes 12 Elite 2.0 darts

Well, well, well, Hasbro has done a lot of things right with the Elite 2.0 Phoenix. Perhaps it’s symbolic that the best the 2.0 series has to offer is named after the bird of rebirth, but I might just be trying to stretch a metaphor… The Phoenix is a compact NERF machine – a motorized blaster that lands straight into our best motorized NERF blasters and top 10 NERF blasters roundups thanks to its huge range of customization options (thanks to the tactical rails), included scope, and reasonable price.

The blaster is a small, lightweight, motorized marvel that sports five tactical rails and stock attachment slots, allowing you to customize it in almost every way imaginable. Pair the customization options with a lovely 6-dart clip and large targeting scope, and you’ve found a match made in heaven. The Phoenix may not maximize ammo capacity, but if you’re an agile player looking for a motorized blaster, look no further!

NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz

NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz Blaster

Features

2 Firing modes

Motorized blaster

Semi-automatic

“Airblitz” technology

Integrated scope

1x 10 dart clip

3x Tactical rails

Includes 22 NERF Elite darts

Requires 4 “AA” batteries

The NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz is a game-changer in NERF blaster technology. This powerful blaster offers two modes of play: the air-pressurized “Airblitz” action and the motorized semi-automatic firing.

The Airblitz action is fun to use. Load up to 6 darts in the Airblitz barrel and prime the air tank by pumping the priming mechanism located at the bottom of the blaster. Once your tank is primed, there is a button on the side of the gun that releases 6 Elite darts at once—perfect for sending a message to your opponents or taking down multiple rivals with one shot.

The Motoblitz is also a fully-fledged semi-automatic blaster. Load the included 10-dart clip, hold down the priming button under the trigger to activate the motor, and you’re ready to go! The combination of semi-auto firing and Airblitz technology makes this blaster truly fearsome.

The Elite 2.0 Motoblitz comes with a total of 22 NERF Elite foam darts, more than enough to fill your clip and the Airblitz barrel. Additionally, the blaster features an integrated tactical scope, which is perfect for aiming and taking out targets from a distance, and three tactical rails—one at the top and one on each side of the blaster—for plenty of customization options.

Note: The NERF Elite 2.0 Motoblitz requires 4 AA batteries, which are not included in the box. Make sure to pick some up if you want to make use of both firing modes.

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32

Features

Manual blaster

Front loaded

Flip-shot blaster

Fire two darts at a time

32 dart capacity (2x 16 shot barrels)

1x tactical rail

Includes 32 Elite 2.0 NERF darts

When we first saw the NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-32, it blew our minds (not literally, we’re okay). It feels like Hasbro threw the rulebook out the window when conceiving the Flipshots sub-series of Elite 2.0.

Blasters in the Flipshots sub-series have a unique feature, the ability to “Flip” their barrels and instantly give you a new set of darts to unleash on your enemies. The mechanics are pretty cool: to “flip,” all you need to do is pump the handle (located on the underside of the blaster), and you can keep shooting. There is even a handling locking mechanism that stops the barrels from flipping unexpectedly as you run across the field.

The ability to instantly reload your NERF gun would be scary on any blaster, but the NERF Flip-32 features four, eight-dart barrels, giving you a staggering 32-dart capacity before you even have to reload! The barrels are front-loaded, so it’s worth taking a little preparation time before any fight, as you don’t want to be in the middle of a blaster fight loading up.

The Flip-32’s tricks don’t end there! Not only will you be flipping and firing, but thanks to a special trigger, you can actually fire two darts at once. Pull the trigger halfway to pop off one dart, but engage it fully, and two pieces of foam will launch towards your opponent. As you might expect, packing so much firepower, the Flip-32 is a chunky beast, weighing just under 6 pounds. It will certainly give you a workout, but thanks to the integrated shoulder stock, it’s pretty comfortable to handle, as long as you’re relatively stationary. To prime the Flip-32, there is a handle located under the trigger, which you need to push forward and back before each shot, but once you get the hang of it, you’ll be firing NERF salvos at rapid speed.

This is truly an amazing NERF gun. The flip innovation completely changes blasting, as you can carry a significant amount of ammo with you at all times and not have to worry too much about the next reload. The fact that it comes with 32 Elite darts in the box also means that a purchase will significantly increase your ammo supplies. There is even a tactical rail located on the top of the gun, in case you want to add your own attachments.

NERF Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint

NERF Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint RD-8 Blaster.

Features

NERF Sniper rifle

Bolt action

Detachable scope

Detachable barrel

8 dart drum

Integrated 8 dart storage

3x Tactical rails

Includes 16 NERF Elite darts

They don’t come around often, but when they do, we absolutely love a NERF sniper rifle. The Elite 2.0 Eaglepoint is any NERF sniper’s dream, with multiple points for customization and a bolt-action firing mechanism, the Eaglepoint is the full package.

One of the best things about this blaster is its ability to be customized. It comes with a detachable scope, barrel, and 3 tactical rails, allowing you to create different blaster styles for any situation. This is perfect for players who want to switch up their strategy and take advantage of different situations.

The blaster features an 8-dart drum and bolt-action priming, allowing you to fire 8 darts in a row up to 90 feet away. The combination of bolt-action priming and a scope really does make this feel like an authentic NERF sniper. There is even storage for up to 8 darts located in the integrated shoulder stock, which means you can find yourself a sniper’s nest and pop off your enemies without having to break cover to reload.

The Eaglepoint is perfect for anyone who likes to take their NERF blasting slow and steady, waiting for the perfect shot to take down their opponents. Throw in the added customization options, and you’ve got a serious blasting machine in your hands.

NERF Elite 2.0 Commander RD-6

Features

Manual blaster

Barrel loaded

Slam-fire

Includes 12 Elite 2.0 darts

The NERF Elite 2.0 Commander is the perfect, no-frills entry-level blaster in the Elite 2.0 series. You won’t get much in terms of accessories and add-ons out of the box, but the inclusion of three tactical rails (1 top and two bottom), excellent design, and low price give the Commander two thumbs up in our books.

The Commander is a slam-fire, front-loaded blaster with a rotating 6-dart drum, which means your firing speed is only limited by how fast you can pull the trigger. Hasbro has been generous with the blaster, including 12 darts in the box, so you’ll have a reload ready to go without having to buy any additional darts.

This is a compact blaster with tons of customization choices. We especially like the fact that there is a rail located below the trigger guard. If you’re looking for something cheap with the opportunity to add to later, it’s definitely worth a look.

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-16

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-16

Features

Manual blaster

Front loaded

Flip-shot blaster

Bolt-Action

Fire two darts at a time

16 dart capacity (4x 4 shot barrels)

Integrated (collapsible) shoulder stock

Includes 16 Elite 2.0 NERF darts

Well, we have already shared the magic of the Flipshots blasters with the Flip-32, and you’ll be pleased to know that the Flip-16 features the same innovative “Flip” technology, turning a simple 8-shot, front-loaded blaster into a concealed 16-dart powerhouse!

Like the Flip-32, the Flip-16 includes a pump-action handle located on the bottom of the blaster, allowing you to quickly “flip” your depleted barrels and reload. However, unlike the 32, the Flip-16 doesn’t have a lock on the flipping mechanism, so be careful when jumping, as you may accidentally launch a dart into the floor. Both blasters also have a dual-action trigger. If you pull the trigger halfway, a single dart will be fired, but if you engage it fully, two darts will launch from the side-mounted barrels, one from each side of the blaster.

The Flip-16 may not have the same fire capacity as the 32 (with a maximum of 16 darts), but it does come with an integrated shoulder stock that can be flipped up and stored on top of the NERF gun, providing more stability during blasting. The Flip-16 has a bolt-action priming mechanism located at the back, on top of the blaster.

In conclusion, if you are looking for something more manageable with a lower price tag, the Flip-16 could be the perfect blaster to try in the Flip-Shot series. It may not pack as much punch as the 32, but it still provides a great experience.

NERF Elite 2.0 Echo CS-10

NERF Elite 2.0 Echo CS-10 blaster

Features

Manual blaster

Clip loaded

Includes 10 dart clip

Includes barrel and stock extensions

Includes 24 Elite 2.0 darts

The NERF Elite 2.0 Echo is the ultimate customization station for NERF enthusiasts. Out of the box, you will receive the Echo base blaster, a removable stock, and a barrel extension. To add to the already impressive offering, the Echo also includes 5 tactical rails, making it a dream NERF gun for customizers.

The Echo is a slam-fire blaster that is located at the top, which can be inconvenient to use. Although it is a solid blaster, the location of the priming mechanism at the top of the blaster can make it challenging to fire and pump at the same time. However, the Echo uses vertical clips, making reloads easy once you have exhausted your ammo.

In terms of firepower, the Echo may not be the best offering in the Elite 2.0 series. However, if you have a lot of attachments ready to be added to a blaster, you will surely appreciate the 5 tactical rails that come with this blaster.

NERF Elite 2.0 Shockwave RD-15

NERF Elite 2.0 Shockwave RD-15 blaster

Features

Manual blaster

Slam-fire

15 dart Rotating drum

3x tactical rails

Includes 30 Elite 2.0 darts

The NERF Elite 2.0 Shockwave offers more capacity than the Commander. With a 15-dart capacity thanks to its rotating drum, you’ll have plenty of ammo at your disposal. However, it is bulkier so be prepared to trade agility for ammo.

The Shockwave features a slam-fire priming mechanism located at the bottom of the blaster, making it easy to prime and shoot. The front-loaded, easily accessible 15-dart rotating drum won’t take long to reload. Hasbro has been generous and included 30 darts, so you’ll have plenty of spare darts even if you pummel your opponent into submission. With three tactical rails, the Shockwave is a customizable base blaster with loads of options.

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-8

NERF Elite 2.0 Flipshots Flip-8

Features

Manual blaster

Front loaded

Flip-shot blaster

Integrated sight

8 dart capacity (2x 4 shot barrel)

Includes 8 Elite 2.0 NERF darts

If the Flip-32 or Flip-16 seem too big, or you just want to add a cool pistol NERF gun to your collection, the Flip-8 might be the perfect choice. The Flip-8 (as the name suggests) features the same “Flip” technology as its older siblings, but it doesn’t have a double-shot trigger.

The Flip-8 uses a plunger priming mechanism, located in the handle of the blaster. You’ll need to pull it down before each shot. After firing the first four darts, you can pull back the “Flip” mechanism on the top of the blaster to switch to a fully loaded barrel. Due to its small size, the Flip-8 doesn’t have many hidden tricks, but the “Flip” mechanism doubles as an integrated sight, which is a nice touch.

You may not strike the same level of fear in your enemies with the Flip-8, but as a single-shot pistol NERF gun, you can’t do much better.”

NERF Elite 2.0 Volt SD-1

NERF Elite 2.0 Volt SD-1 blaster

Features

Manual blaster

Targeting light beam

Includes 4 Elite 2.0 darts

With the introduction of the Elite 2.0 series, we say goodbye to one of our favorite pocket blasters, the Elite Jolt, but in doing so, we say a joyous welcome to the Elite 2.0 Volt! Although we may be nostalgic for the old Jolt, the Volt improves upon its predecessor in every way.

The Elite 2.0 Volt may be a pocket blaster, but we beg you not to overlook this little treat. The Volt is a compact blaster, perfect for those sticky situations where you find yourself staring down an enemy with no ammo. And thanks to the inbuilt targeting light beam, you can quickly pop off a super-accurate shot and claim victory! To make things even more magical, the Volt includes two tactical rails (top and bottom) so you can attach your favorite accessories for a truly custom experience.

As a single-shot, front-loaded blaster, this won’t be your primary weapon, but with a generous inclusion of four NERF darts, you will have plenty of rounds to spare. Priming is easy-peasy; just pull back the priming plunger, and you are good to go.

The Trio SD-3 is a simple, plunger-activated, single-shot blaster with a three-dart barrel. Load up your darts, pull the plunger, and you’re ready to pop off that life-saving final shot. The Trio even includes a tiny tactical rail located on top, so if you want to throw on an attachment, you can!
