Like Stars Wars? Love NERF guns? Well, here is a match made in heaven – NERF Star Wars Blasters!

Shoot first with Han Solo’s iconic blaster or turn to the dark side and pick up a Stormtrooper’s gun (just try not to miss so much). Here is our round-up of the very best of NERF Star Wars blasters.

Note: All NERF Star Wars blasters can fire normal Elite darts and some include NERF’s tactical rail technology so you can add on all of your favorite Modulus attachments.

Star Wars Rogue One: Sergeant Jyn Erso Deluxe NERF Blaster

Jyn Ero's blaster

Features

Includes 6 dart clip

Laser blaster sound + light effects

Features NERF Tactical Rail

Includes 6 Elite Glow Strike Star Wars themed darts

OK, we may actually be a little bit in love with Jyn Erso’s NERF blaster. When it comes to pure firepower and simplicity, you won’t find a better gun in the NERF Star Wars range. This clip-fed, motorized blaster is a must-have for any fan of the series.

Sergeant Erso’s Deluxe blaster doesn’t come with lots of add-ons, but thanks to the inclusion of a top-loaded tactical rail and space for stock attachments, you can really make this blaster your own. The reason we love this blaster so much is that even if you took away the Star Wars sound effects and light-up action (which are awesome, by the way), it is still a great blaster. Simply load up the included 6-dart clip, hold down the accelerator button, and you are good to go – those Stormtroopers won’t know what hit them! The only downside is that the clip is relatively small, but you can easily upgrade to a slightly larger clip.

Jyn’s blaster really is the full package. Not only does it scream Star Wars thanks to excellent attention to detail and sound effects, but it is a fantastic blaster in its own right. You can even find Jyn’s blaster in our NERF Top 10!

Star Wars Rogue One: Captain Cassian Andor (Eadu) NERF Blaster

Captain Cassian's blaster.

Features

65ft range

Laser blaster sound effects

Features NERF Tactical Rail

Includes removable scope + shoulder stock + barrel extension

Includes 12 dart clip

Includes 18 Elite Glow-Strike Star Wars themed darts

Now, this is a rather serious NERF blaster. Even if you’re not a fan of Star Wars, Captain Cassian’s Eadu blaster is worth checking out. Cassian certainly had good taste in blasters. This little beauty is a clip-fed motorized gun that includes a slew of attachments, allowing you to customize it fully to your play style. Better yet, Cassian’s blaster includes NERF’s tactical rail technology, which means you can clip on all of your favorite upgrades, even if they aren’t Star Wars-themed!

The base blaster is good enough to make a serious impact on the blaster field, but if you want to pick your shots, simply attach the scope and shoulder stock, and you are good to go. Oh, did we mention that Cassian’s blaster also has sound effects? If you want to recreate your own epic space saga, then you can’t go far wrong here. It is worth mentioning though that all of those Pew Pew laser noises will quickly drain your battery!

As this is a motorized blaster, you will need to feed in 4 AA batteries to get it going. In order to shoot, simply hold down the acceleration button, which is located just below the main trigger.

Star Wars The Force Awakens: Han Solo NERF Blaster

Han Solo's NERF Blaster

Features

Slide action cocking mechanism

65ft Range

Includes top mounted scope

Any fan of Star Wars will instantly recognize Han’s iconic blaster. Although this gun is officially from The Force Awakens, we think you will be forgiven if you want to recreate a certain famous cantina scene from the original movies. Why does it feature so high up on our list? Well, only a Nerf herder would have to ask that question.

The Han Solo blaster is a relatively simple affair, featuring a front-loaded barrel and single-shot capability. With a range of up to 65ft, you may not be able to compete with some of the more well-stocked blasters, such as the Doomlands Judge, but you sure will look damn cool with this blaster on your hip.

The Han Solo NERF blaster may not win any awards for capacity or range, but when you’re the one shooting first, it won’t matter

Star Wars The Force Awakens: First Order Stormtrooper Deluxe NERF Blaster

First Order Stormtrooper NERF.

Features

Slam-fire action

65ft range

Features NERF Tactical Rail

Includes removable scope + stock

Includes 12 dart clip

Ever wanted to be a Stormtrooper? Well, now you can! We won’t question your choice in the Force either as the First Order Stormtrooper blaster is fantastic. It may not be an automatic NERF gun, but thanks to the inclusion of a slam-fire action mechanism and a 12-dart clip, you’ll easily be able to keep up without having to reload between shots. Combined with a 65ft range and you have yourself a blaster that can go toe-to-toe with some of the great guns out there.

The First Order Stormtrooper blaster includes a tactical rail on top of the barrel which means, if you don’t like the included scope, you can easily add on your favorites from the Modulus range. Hasbro has even thrown in a detachable shoulder stock, so if you want to add some stability to your blasting, simply pop it on the back.

Star Wars Rogue One: Imperial Death Trooper NERF Blaster

Imperial Death Death Trooper NERF blaster

Features

Pump-action cocking mechanism

Glowing barrel front

Laser blaster sound effects

Includes 3 Elite Glow Strike Star Wars themed darts

At NERF Reviews, we have always been fans of pump-action blasters, which may be why the Imperial Death Trooper blaster finds itself so far up our list. Don’t trust us? Keep reading and find out why this really is a great blaster.

First things first, the Death Trooper is a three-barreled front-loaded blaster that relies on a smooth pump action to prime. Before each shot, pump the cocking mechanism located underneath the barrels to prime and you are ready to unleash your next wave of dart hell! If you’re looking for some added stability, the Death Trooper does allow you to attach a standard (or Star Wars) shoulder stock, but then again, with three darts in the chamber, who cares about accuracy?

Thanks to the inclusion of three barrels (which fire one after the other), you can quickly get off three shots before your opponent even knows what hit them. Do note though that you may be left in the dirt trying to reload if you find yourself up against some of the impressive motorized blasters in the range.

This really is a lovely, simple blaster that is perfect for seasoned NERF fans and beginners alike. Add in some top-notch blaster sound effects and a glowing barrel, and you have yourself a very fine blaster indeed – we just won’t mention the fact that you are fighting on the wrong side.

Star Wars Captain Phasma NERF Blaster

Captain Phasma's NERF blaster

Features

Glow in the dark 5 dart rotating drum

65ft range

Laser blast sound effects

Includes detachable stock

Includes 5 Elite Glow-Strike Star Wars themed darts

Thought being a Stormtrooper was cool? How about being a Stormtrooper Captain? Got your attention? Then why not pick up the mysterious Captain Phasma’s battle blaster. Strike fear into the hearts of the Resistance with this beefy blaster that fires glow-in-the-dark rounds!

Now, to the blaster itself. Phasma’s gun features a 5-dart (glowing!) rotating drum that you will have to feed darts into via a slot in the side of the barrel. This can be a little laborious and will certainly leave you exposed each time you need to reload, but then again, you do have 5 chances to knock out your opposition. To shoot, simply pull back the cocking bolt located at the back of the blaster, and you are good to go.

This may not be the most dynamic blaster available, but we haven’t got to the best part! Each time you pull back the cocking mechanism and fire, there are some rather exciting, Star Wars-themed sound effects! Phasma’s blaster may not help you out on the blasting field, but it is certainly a lot of fun – if you just want to recreate Stormtrooper vs. Resistance battles, then this is a gun definitely worth picking up.

Star Wars: First Order Stormtrooper Deluxe NERF Blaster

First Order Stormtrooper blaster

Features

Includes 12 dart clip

Laser blaster sound effects

NERF Tactical Rail

Includes detachable stock + barrel extension + eyepiece

Includes 12 Elite Glow Strike Star Wars themed darts

With weapons like the Stormtrooper Deluxe blaster in their hands, it’s no wonder the First Order took control of the galaxy – this is an absolute beast of a blaster. Not only does the Stormtrooper Deluxe feature a 12-dart capacity (thanks to the included clip), but it’s also a motorized blaster! The Resistance won’t know what hit them when you walk out on the blasting field.

We really like this blaster. The inclusion of a side-mounted dart clip means you can easily check your ammo levels and not have to worry about any bulky appendages if you need to get down and take some prone shots. The fact that this is also a motorized blaster means all you have to worry about is holding down the accelerator button.

When designing the Stormtrooper Deluxe blaster, Hasbro really went all out. Not only is this a great blaster in its own right, but the inclusion of Star Wars accessories and blaster sound effects makes this the perfect present for any Star Wars fan. Add in some Glow Strike darts and you have a very fun NERF package on your hands.

Star Wars The Force Awakens: First Order Stormtrooper Mini Blaster

Rey's Jakku NERF blaster

Features

Slide action cocking mechanism

65ft range

Features NERF Tactical Rail

Includes detachable sight

mini features a Tactical Rail, located on top of the barrel, which allows you to not only attach the included sight but also any of your compatible Modulus upgrades.

To get shooting, all you need to do is load up your dart through the front of the barrel, slide back the cocking mechanism located on top of the blaster and you are ready to start blasting. It really doesn’t get much simpler than that. The inclusion of a sight on top of the blaster is a nice touch, but knowing Stormtroopers, who knows if it actually helps with accuracy!

If you don’t mind being on the Dark side then we would recommend the Stormtrooper over the likes of Jyn’s Jakku blaster only because it has the added versatility of a Tactical Rail. A perfect addition to any arsenal and perfect as a backup blaster.

Star Wars The Force Awakens: Rey (Jakku) Blaster

Rey's Jakku NERF blaster

Features

Slide action cocking mechanism

65ft range

Much like her scavenging life, Rey’s Jakku blaster is a bit rough around the edges (though it doesn’t have a British accent as far as we know). Don’t get us wrong, this is still a fun little blaster, but if you want more firepower, we would recommend looking elsewhere.

That being said, Rey’s blaster would definitely make a nice addition to anyone’s secondary weaponry or just as a sneaky blaster to keep around the house. The firing mechanism couldn’t be simpler – slide back the cocking mechanism located on top of the barrel and you’re ready (make sure you load up your dart first though).

Rey’s blaster is simple but effective. You may not be able to defeat the entire First Order on your own, but it will definitely help in those sticky situations where you need to make one final shot!
